Event Text Style

BusyCal supports various text display styles.

The following event text styles are available under Settings > Event Text Style:

  • Plain — Timed events appear as plain black labels over a white background with a colored dot next to them. All-day event banners are displayed as colored capsules. In both cases, the color is derived from either assigned colored tags or the calendar's color.

  • Calendar / Tag Color — Timed events are shown as colored labels without a preceding dot (to maximize the visibility of more titles). All-day event banners are displayed as colored capsules. In both cases, the color is derived from either assigned colored tags or the calendar's color.

  • Calendar Color Only — Events are displayed in the same manner as in Calendar / Tag Color, but tag colors are ignored. The color is solely taken from their calendars.
