Calendar colors keep reverting (or change on other devices)
Some calendar services (such as iCloud and Google) can sync calendar colors across devices. If you set a custom color in BusyCal but it later “snaps back” to another color, the server is likely sending the calendar’s color down during sync.
Fix: Set a local color and ignore the synced color
- In BusyCal for Mac, double-click the calendar name in the left sidebar to open the Calendar Info dialog.
- Enable Ignore Calendar Color (sometimes shown as Ignore 'Calendar Colour').
- Now set your preferred calendar color (Control-click the calendar name and pick a color).
With “Ignore Calendar Color” enabled, BusyCal keeps your chosen color locally instead of letting the server override it.
