Quick Entry uses the wrong calendar

Why does Quick Entry use the wrong calendar?​

Quick Entry creates events and tasks using your default calendars unless you specify a calendar explicitly.

Fix: Set the default calendar​

Events​

  1. Go to BusyCal > Settings > General.
  2. Set Default calendar for Events to a writable calendar.

Tasks​

  1. Go to BusyCal > Settings > Tasks.
  2. Set Default Calendar for Tasks to a task calendar.

Tip: Specify a calendar in Quick Entry​

You can override the default by adding a slash and calendar name:

  • Lunch with Sam tomorrow /work
  • -Buy toner /personal
