Microsoft 365 / Outlook events are not updating in BusyCal
If your Microsoft 365 calendar looks up-to-date in Outlook (and sometimes even in Apple Calendar) but BusyCal isn’t reflecting recent changes, the account may be using a legacy connection method that no longer syncs reliably.
Fix: Re-add the account using Microsoft Graph
- In BusyCal for Mac, open BusyCal > Settings > Accounts.
- Select your existing Microsoft/Office 365 account and remove it (minus button).
- Click the plus button and add the account again, selecting Office 365 (Microsoft Graph).
- Complete the sign-in / MFA flow and allow BusyCal to finish its initial sync.
