Google Workspace “Space” / assigned tasks don’t sync
If you use Google Workspace and see tasks that were assigned via “Spaces” (or assigned by other members) in Google’s own UI, but they don’t appear in BusyCal, it can be due to a limitation in what Google exposes to third-party apps through their Tasks APIs.
What you can do
- Confirm that the tasks appear in Google’s own Tasks/Calendar UI first.
- If the tasks only exist in “Spaces” (or as assigned tasks) and don’t sync to BusyCal, you may need to manage those items in Google’s web app until Google exposes them through the same APIs used by third-party clients.
